Hey y'all! I'm Sara and I'm so glad you are here with me!
A Midwestern girl born and raised, I find inspiration in the world around me, in the natural beauty of the American Midwest, and in the communities of people living and working and thriving together. Ask anyone, and they’ll tell you that I was born with art in my heart.
I’ve always been fascinated by the infinite ways that people choose to express themselves through art, but my journey into jewelry making
really began in high school, when I was first introduced to working with glass mosaics. I fell in love with glasswork. I played with it through the years on and off, mostly making gifts for others.
After getting out of an abusive relationship, I turned to my art once again to be my path to self-discovery and expression. I started with mosaics, but soon discovered a new passion in fused glass. The beauty and versatility of the glass and the jewelry I made with it quickly transformed it into my favorite form of creative expression. After seeing others wire wrapping stone, I was inspired to experiment with using wire for my own jewelry. What started as the idea to "put a bit of wire around the glass" became so much more and I fell in love all over again, this time with wirework.
Through the years, I have evolved and fine-tuned my artistry, combining my passion for creating unique pieces of wearable art with my firm belief that every woman deserves jewelry that speaks directly to her, helping her feel as beautiful and confident as she truly is. My jewelry helped me to feel more powerful and confident than I had in years and I truly believe it can for others as well!
